This month we are shining the light on Ninni Laaksonen.

This Month’s Feature: Ninni Laaksonen

• What is your role at Wulff Entre and what do you do?

I am a Sales Representative and I help companies to get the most out of their exhibitions. I work mainly within industries like construction, electricity, hvac and agriculture, but am also responsible for the Finnish market, meaning all exhibitions on all industries here in Finland. Also, I work with Entre Events. On the Events side, we produce events for our customers in Finland and with exhibitions around the world. We also provide custom outsourced project management, which I personally love to be involved with! ?

• I have learned to never forget _____________ when going to a trade show.

A happy mood and lots of coffee!! There is always something that will need fixing and a bunch of caffeine and a happy mind will get you through it every single time! ?

• How are you uniquely qualified to help with events?

This is a very familiar sector to me, as I have been working as a hostess at exhibitions and events in Finland for the past 15 years. Still, there is so much to learn because the industry changes all the time. I love what I do and it is not my job, it is my passion to make the best out of every event and exhibitions I am involved with.

• How would you describe your day job to a child?

I work with exhibitions and companies, but I help people get the best out of what they are doing! We always say we work with companies, but the truth is that we work with people. It is all about trust, from one person to another.

• How many countries have you been to?

12 different countries this far I think… Now I get new ones every year!

• What did you do before Wulff Entre, why did you chose to work here?

I love exhibitions and people, there is just something that makes me wanna go to every exhibition in the world. I also love projects, and if there is any job with quick changes, it is the exhibition business! fast and furious! You will always learn new things, if not about the business – about people. Before I have worked as a designer, within sales and in different projects. I feel like everything I have done in my past have learned me something useful for this job I have today. At Wulff Entre, I can work with awesome, fun and talented people around me.

• What languages do you speak?

I speak native Swedish and Finnish and fluent English and un poco español and a bit of German.

• What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?

Both professional and personal I would have to say it is me knowing who I am. At one point in life I had to stop and evaluate things all over and find out who I am and where I stand. I would now say that I now know who I am, what I want and what my priorities in life are.

• If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

ICELAND! Or… on a quiet beach in Honolulu.

• Do you have any hidden talents?

Like 2 am karaoke? Absolutely no…. ? I used to play handball for 10 years on professional level in the Finnish national league. Nowadays a play very rarely, but I miss that though.

• What are the unwritten rules at work?

We always help eachother out no matter what. The best thing about our company is that it is built on trust and everyone plays a huge part in it.

• What is your motto or personal mantra?

If I don´t know how – I´ll learn how.

• Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

There is a little Christmas crazy person living inside of me. I will let her out in October-November ?
