Hello all!
I am a 26-year-old girl from Oulu who has a passion for studying foreign languages and for Asia and who started as Wulff Entre’s new Project Assistant yesterday.
I graduated with a Master in Social Sciences from the University of Turku in 2013, with major in East Asian Studies. Despite my varied work history from my student days, which comprises quite a heterogenous list of summer jobs from customer service in Disneyland Paris to elderly care in Sweden and English teaching in China, Wulff Entre’s branch of business is an entirely new and exciting challenge to me.
I’m starting my path here at Wulff Entre through a seven-month internship and training programme, just like some of my new colleagues have done before me. They were able to convince others during their internship that they were worthy of direct employment, and I aim to follow their path in this respect as well.
My tasks as a project assistant will primarily consist of assisting the project managers in customer projects, maintaining and updating the customer register, and assisting with trade fair projects. I am also secretly pleased about the prospect of getting to further challenge myself by using different languages in this international job – Swedish, French, Japanese, Chinese, anyone? (Woops, I’ve got to be careful not to promise too much!)
I’m very excited to start my work in the summery Helsinki. I hope by the next time I write a post I have familiarised myself with the key processes and gained some more insight worth sharing!
